K15, (18) sts, sl next 31, (35) sts onto scrap yarn,
K42, (48) sts, sl next 31, (35) sts onto scrap yarn,
K15, (18) sts. 72, (84) sts on needle.
Do not turn. Instead, cast on 6 sts at the end of the row, and then join in the round with the beginning of the row. PM.
Work in st st in the round on all 78, (90) sts until piece measures 16 ½”, (20) from sleeve separation. Switch to smaller size circulars and work in 2x2 ribbing for 1 ½” (9 rounds) - decreasing 2 sts across. Bind off all sts loosely on larger needles.
Sleeves
(RS facing) With size larger double points, unravel scrap yarn & slip 31, (35) sts from onto needles. Join in the round, pm at underarm. Work in st st in the round, while decreasing 1 st before and after marker every 7th round 4, (5) times. 23, (25) sts. Work 2, (1) more round. Then, switch to smaller double points and work in 2x2 ribbing for 1” (6 rounds)- decreasing 3, (1) st on 1st round. Bind off all sts loosely with larger size needles. Repeat for other sleeve.
