Using smaller needles cast on 31 (33, 35, 37, 39) sts and work 10 rows in 1x1 rib as given for Back.
Change to larger needles and work 2 rows in st st. Inc 1 st at each end of next and every foll 4th row until there are 39(43, 49, 47, 49) sts
