Gauge:  5 sts = 1” in st st on size 8 knitting needles, 5.5 sts = 1” in bramble stitch on size 8s.
Needles: Size US 8-32” circular needle for scarf,
size 8-16” circular for hat plus size 8 double points,
stitch marker for both projects.
