Keyhole Scarf
Yarn: Baby Alpaca Grande - 1—100g hank shown in color 5469
Needles: US Size 15
Size: about 3.5" x 30”.
Gauge: Not overly important - do not knit tight and get the scarf width as stated.
Instructions:
Divide hank of yarn in half.
With double strand of yarn, loosely cast on 14 sts.
Work 2x2 ribbing as follows:
Row 1: K2, *(p2, k2); repeat from * across.
Row 2: P2, *(k2, p2); repeat from * across.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until total length is 4”.
Next row: Work back and forth on the first 7 sts only in ribbing as established for 3”. Cut yarn.
Reattach yarn to the remaining 7 sts and work in ribbing for 3” on these sts.
Next row: Join two halves again by working across the whole row.
Continue in ribbing as established until almost out of yarn. Bind off loosely in ribbing.
Weave in all ends.
