CENTER: With E hook CH 6, join to form ring,
CH 4, keeping last loop of each st on hook, 2 TR in ring, thread over and pull thru all remaining loops, Ch 3, TR in ring, *CH3, cluster st in ring (cluster st: keeping last loop of each st on hook, 3 TR in ring, thread over and pull thru all remaining loops), CH 3, TR in ring, repeat from * 6 times. Ch 3, join in first cluster st.
2nd rd: Sl st into loop CH 1, 1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC in same loop, *CH 7, 1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC in next loop, repeat from * around ending with CH 3 DC in 1st SC, this brings thread in position for next round.
3rd rd: CH 7, SC in next Ch 7 loop, repeat from beg all around ending with CH 3, DC in DC.
4th rd: CH 3 (counts as 1st DC), 2 DC, CH 3, 3 DC in DC (all 1st shells will be worked in same manner), * CH 3, 1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC in next loop (picot), CH 3, 3 DC, CH 3, 3DC (shell) in center st of net loop. Repeat from &* all around ending with CH 3, 1 SC, CH 3, 1 SC in last loop, CH 3, join in 3rd st of CH at beg.
5th rd: Sl st to loop of 1st shell, shell in same loop, * CH3, SC in next loop, CH 7, skip the next picot, SC in next loop, CH 3, shell in net shell, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join in 3rd st of CH at beg.
6th rd: Sl st to loop of 1st shell, shell in same loop, * CH 3, skip next loop, shell in center st of next loop, CH 3, skip next loop, shell in shell, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join n 3rd st of Ch at beg.
7th rd: Sl st to loop of 1st shell, shell in same loop, * CH 3, picot in next loop, CH 3 shell in next shell, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join in 3rd st of CH.
8th rd: CH 1, SC in next 2 DC, 3 SC in CH 3 loop, SC in next 3 DC, * CH 1, SC in top of picot, CH 1, SC in next 3 DC, 3 SC in CH 3 loop, SC in next 3 DC, repeat from * around ending to correspond, join to first Ch 1, fasten off.
