Row 1 (RS): Sl 1, *(k1 tbl, p1); repeat from * to end.
Row 2 (WS): Sl 1, *(p1, k1);  repeat from * to end. 
Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.

Cast on 73(78, 83, 98) sts and work in 3/2 Rib pattern described above. When piece measures 13” end on a WS row. 
Shape Armholes:
Bind off 4 sts on the next 2 (2, 2, 4) rows. Then dec 1 st each edge on every RS row 3(3, 4, 4) times. 
59 (64, 67, 74) sts.

Collar
Using the cable cast on method, cast on 45 (45, 49, 55) sts.
